A Reflection on 2008

As I look back on 2008, I am So very THANKFUL & GRATEFUL to my Father God and My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for loving me and choosing me to be one of His Godly princesses!!! For giving me and sending to me the Great Comforter, the Holy Spirit! For leading and guiding and directing me through this life here on earth!! Our God is an AWESOME and an AWE Inspiring God! I have learned so much through this last year. It was a tough and hard year for me. I lost my job, being laid off in May. I had to move to a much smaller apartment and give up 2/3rd of my stuff. I had a bad relationship that didn't work out and caused me a lot of pain. And I have had a lot of physical issues. But THROUGH IT ALL, I have come to such a realization of His loving and forgiving grace! God loves me! He has NEVER left me or forsaken me, just as He promised me He would never do! I have learned to hear His still small voice more. The Lord has been using me more in church to speak out His words of love and encouragement. I am learning more that my ministry for the Lord is to minister to people who have broken hearts. The Lord slowly started to reveal that to me at my Ladies Fellowship retreat last October and throughout the rest of the year and into the new year. I really and truely gave all my strong hopes and desires to get married and have kids to God! I really layed them at the foot of His cross! I am not saying they won't still come true. God can do anything! But I am NOT going to let them rule my thoughts and life anymore! I am going to be about MY FATHER'S business for the coming years till His return! That is what I was put on this earth to do! Worship the living and true God, the Great "I AM" and to be about His business, which is to witness to the unsaved and share the love of God with them!! Jesus loves us so much! If you were the only one here on this earth, He still would have gone to the cross and died for you alone! That speaks so much to me! Jesus is love! To sum things up.....I may not be where I want to be in my life, but I sure am glad I am not where I was in the past! I have grown!
There were some wonderful things that happened at the end of 2007, and into 2008. At the end of 2007, my beautiful Niece Jordan and her handsome Godly husband Lee had my beautiful little great niece Nayah, making that #4 and #5 is on the way! Her other 2 beautiful girls, Tiley and Tavi are doing great, Tiley started school. My Handsome great nephew Royce is growing up to be quite a little man himself! My other beautiful niece Sarah got married to a wonderful handsome, Godly man, John. Last year my handsome nephew David got married to a wonderfully beautiful, Godly young woman, Carissa! 2 of my other beautiful nieces, Ashley and Brianna turned 18 and started college. 1 of my beautiful nieces, Beth is continuing in college to become a Nurse and doing very well. 1 of my beautiful nieces, Robyn got her drivers lisence and 1 of my handsome nephews, Dan will be getting his real soon. Of course all the other beautiful nieces Angela and Annalise and handsome nephews Arron, Andrew, Caleb, and Joshua are doing great continuing in school as well. My beautiful sister Vicki and her handsome Godly husband Joe moved to Kansas City, Moussori, Joe got a new job and they are setting up a new house and doing well. My other beautiful sister Debbie and her handsome husband Scott and their family and my handsome brother Craig (lovingly known as Baldy! ) and his beautiful Godly wife Linda and their family are all doing well. And my Father and his beautiful wife Ginnie are doing well also.
Did I say beautiful, and handsome enough? Did I forget anyone? Oh yes, of course, all my handsome and beautiful friends are doing well also! God is good! All the time! Amen!
